She also is Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management through ADCES since 2019 with her doctorate project focus being on diabetes self-management by spending time with diabetic patients and increasing their knowledge of diabetes through guidance in diet, exercise, and appropriate use of medication.
“My passion for treating diabetics is due to a strong family history of diabetes. I hold an advanced certification in treating diabetics. I love being able to help diabetics and seeing an improvement in their numbers. We have so many great medications we can use now which generally will cause a decrease in weight along with a decrease in BP and improvement with cholesterol,” said Dr. Vance.
