Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems is improving patient conversations for a better healthcare experience through the rolling out of the Well Health Inc.
WELL is the last mile patient communication platform for healthcare and enables convenient, bidirectional conversations between providers and patients across multiple channels — including texting, email, telephone, and live chat. WELL serves many of the country’s leading health systems and more than 31 million patients. Well was founded in 2015, WELL is based in Santa Barbara, California. It is the 2021 Best in KLAS winner in Patient Outreach and consistently the highest rated patient engagement software on G2 and Capterra.
One of the biggest perks of WELL is that of patients being able to use the text messaging feature to talk to a real person at their site directly. This will reduce call volume, improve the patient experience, and reduce no-shows. This texting feature eliminates a significant volume of calls for medical practices, streamlining their workflow, and ensuring high-need patients receive care promptly.
Chief Operations Officer for SVCHS, Chad Brown, said, “Often times, we get hundreds of calls a day, so we are very excited to be able to improve our patient experience at SVCHS through the option of texting with a live person at one of our sites.”
The ability to text any of the Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems’ sites will be available on Monday, November 22, 2021.
