The Feria de la Salud has been set for Sunday, October 20 beginning at 1 p.m. at Grayson County High School and lasting until 5 p.m.
This annual festival is hosted by Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems in partnership with Grayson County Health Department and is geared toward the Hispanic and Latino population within the area and to unite the community.
There will be medical and dental professionals on site. Spanish interpreters will be available at the event to assist with any needs of anyone with limited English. The family-friendly event will be free to the community and will offer free medical exams and dental screenings, music, dance, games and activities for children, educational health sessions, light refreshments, raffles and prizes, and information regarding local community resources.
