Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems’ Seeking Artwork for Newly Renovated Bristol Facility

Southwest Virginia Community Health System is seeking local photography and artwork to furnish the newly renovated Bristol Community Health Center in Bristol, VA.

The organization is wanting to furnish the facility with photographs and artwork from Bristol and the surrounding area, along with any landmarks that are part of Bristol’s community and culture. Some of these community locations can include: Sugar Hollow Park, any locations within State Street, Appalachian and Bristol Caverns, Bristol Motor Speedway, Bristol State Liners baseball games/stadium, Bristol Train Station, Mendota Trail, Rocky Mount, South Holston Lake/South Holston River, Steele Creek Park, Cumberland Square Park, Clear Creek Golf Course, Cherokee National Forest (Jacob’s Creek), Bristol Casino – Future Home of Hard Rock, and Twin City Drive-In.  These pieces do not have to be current. Pieces that are accepted will be permanently displayed in the rooms of the building with artist credit.

Submissions will need to be digital, high-quality images and will be accepted through Friday, August 2, 2024. Submissions will need to be sent via email to Kim Stewart at kstewart@svchs.com  or Kaylan Bales at kbales@svchs.com.
